Job Summary:
As an Accounting Clerk I, you are responsible for the pre-invoicing of assigned products in a timely manner as well as for daily ledger updates and daily filing.
Essential Functions:
- Daily filing, mailing and correspondence.
- Receives e-mails to update billing address changes.
- Enter charges when received.
- Create revised invoice or down payment invoices for customer.
- Create invoice when instructions received by sales rep.
- Enter shipping charges weekly from internet download.
- Move/put books in order in library.
- Contact sales reps concerning any discrepancies in list cost.
- Enter charges such as Creative service artwork, cover/endsheet art, autograph supplement.
- Work up books received that have shipped.
- Assists with filing, file maintenance, mailings of statements and deposit notices.

- Demonstrated advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows based databases.
