We are now looking for an Accounting Specialist, Record to Report to join our team in Ostrava, Czechia.
You will contribute to high-quality, standardized accounting execution, working within defined processes and controls, while gaining exposure to end-to-end finance operations in a global environment.
This position is ideal for professionals with approximately 2-5 years of relevant experience who are ready to take on responsibility in accounting, systems, and finance processes.
Key responsibilities
Perform assigned accounting and reporting activities, including general accounting, journal entries, entity closing, fixed and leased asset accounting, intercompany accounting, indirect tax reporting
Perform group-level reporting in accordance with established procedures
Execute monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities in compliance with IFRS requirements; ensure accuracy and consistency of accounting outputs
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support the preparation of financial reports
Collaborate closely with Finance Operations teams and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth Record to Report processes, knowledge sharing and operational excellence
Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation of efficiency initiatives
Escalate issues, risks or inconsistencies in a timely manner
Work closely with Senior Accounting Specialists and Manager to support timely and accurate close and reporting
Work with finance systems (e.g. SAP, OneStream, Group reporting system) and related tools
Required Skills, competences, and experience
Education in Accounting, Finance or a similar field
2–5 years of relevant work experience in financial accounting or a related financial role
Basic understanding of finance processes and technical accounting knowledge (IFRS)
Familiarity with accounting and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Group reporting system)
Analytical, detail-oriented and learning-oriented mindset; ability to manage numerical data with high accuracy
Ability to work under tight deadlines and follow established processes and controls
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders in an international environment
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
