Accounting Specialist

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist join our growing team.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in our financial operations—handling daily Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks and maintaining accurate records through QuickBooks. You’ll be instrumental in keeping our books balanced, payments timely, and processes running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations by actively working in QuickBooks and regularly reviewing the books, rather than relying on task lists
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports with accuracy, timeliness, and proper accounting treatment
• Apply sound accounting judgment when recording transactions to ensure entries are logically and financially correct
• Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts regularly, identifying and resolving discrepancies proactively
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end closing activities
• Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed by the team or leadership
• Communicate and follow up with vendors and internal teams on payment and billing matters
• Support ad hoc finance-related tasks and reporting as required
• Experience or knowledge in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) is a plus, but not required
• Background in the BPO or outsourcing industry is preferred, but not mandatory

 What We’re Looking For:

• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP); open to fresh graduates with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and the reasoning behind financial entries
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Ramp; experience with Buildium is a plus, but training can be provided
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in handling financial data
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and reconciliations
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be willing to work onsite
