Job Description
THIS POSITION IS IN PERSON ONLY, DOES NOT SPONSOR WORK VISA'S, AND HAS NO RELOCATION ASSISTANCE.
Position will be filled by a professional candidate with strong work history, seeking a long-term career with opportunity for advancement. Scope of responsibility will expand beyond Accounts Payable as candidate masters tasks.
- Ensure payables are processed timely and coded accurately
- Manage email timely
- Prepare vendor reconciliations
- Assist in month-end close process including but not limited to expense accruals
- Manage AP inquiries effectively and timely
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency
- Ensure payments are made according to company policy
- Ensure accuracy of vendor payments, including setup and validation of vendor banking information
- Assist, as needed, with other duties to support the organization
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years Accounting experience required
- Must understand Accounting terminology
- Must be able to use MS Excel effectively
- Must be motivated with a desire learn, grow and lead others
