We are currently looking for: Accounting Specialist
Location: Kraków
The main responsibilities in this position:
- Posting purchase invoices in accordance with the applicable procedures
- Analysis, reconciliation of balances and settlements with customers and vendors
- Periodic and annual reconciliation and confirmation of receivables and liabilities
- Taking part in preparation of financial reports for HQ according to Polish Accounting Standards
- Developing knowledge of regulations and interpretations related to accounting and financial reporting according to Polish Accounting Standards
Key requirements:
- University degree in Finance or Economics
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- The ability to think analytically
- Experience in working with SAP system will be an advantage
- Good command of English (at least B2)

The person employed in this position will be part of the department responsible for providing accounting services to polish and foreign affiliates of Canpack Group. Specialist will be responsible for accounting various matters relating to one of our entity, by execution or supporting of accounting processes related to its activities including invoice processing, reconciliation of AR and AP and General Ledger accounting ensuring correctness of records in accordance with Polish Accounting Standards and internal control framework. Specialist will also be responsible for preparing reports for external and internal purposes and other duties related to accounting matters. Constant contact with foreign companies requires a good command of English. Frequently prepared Ad-Hoc reports will require knowledge of MS Excel in the intermediate level.
