GST Accounts Receivable Specialist GST is looking for an Accounting Specialist who has experience with general accounting and accounts receivable and payable duties. The individual must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-hat environment with good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Past accounting experience is a must. Job Requirements
- Post customer payments by recording EFT, checks, and credit card transactions, and make sure they match with the bank transactions.
- Post revenues by verifying order information and converting it to invoice. Send invoices to customers daily.
- Ensure all expenses are paid and recorded and comply with SOPs and company policy.
- Verify the account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales transactions, various departments, and customers.
- Resolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, and credit lines.
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
- Bank Reconciliation
- Assist with Annual audits and bank audit requests.
- Protects GST's value by keeping information confidential.
Qualifications
- 3+ years accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Responsible team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Experience with time-sensitive deadlines on a daily/monthly basis.
