Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Freshers or up to 1 year of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Operations, or Shared Services.
- Good understanding of procurement and purchasing concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to learn procurement systems such as SAP and Ariba.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Strong attention to detail and process orientation.
Summary:
The primary role is to support Direct and Indirect Procurement activities, supplier management, sourcing operations, purchase order processing, procurement reporting, and stakeholder coordination. The role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement operations while supporting business requirements and ensuring compliance with procurement processes.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Support Direct and Indirect Procurement activities.
- Assist in supplier sourcing and vendor onboarding processes.
- Create and maintain purchase orders and procurement records.
- Coordinate with suppliers for quotations and documentation.
- Support RFQ/RFP activities and supplier evaluations.
- Track procurement requests and ensure timely processing.
- Prepare procurement reports and dashboards using Excel.
- Maintain procurement data and documentation accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing requirements.
- Support supplier performance monitoring and compliance activities.
- Assist in spend analysis and cost-saving initiatives.
- Learn and work on SAP, Ariba, and other procurement tools.
