This role reports to the Close, Consolidations, and Reporting Controller and is responsible for leading a global team across the United States, Costa Rica, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
The Accounting Manager will oversee Intel's consolidated monthly close and financial statement consolidations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong operational execution. The role also supports quarterly management reporting, with a focus on balance sheet and cash flow, and partners closely with External Reporting on SEC filings (10-Q and 10-K).
This position plays a critical role in driving accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across enterprise-wide close processes, and requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence across a complex global organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage global teams supporting close, consolidation, and reporting activities
Oversee the monthly financial close and ensure overall health and performance through defined KPIs
Manage the consolidation of financial statements and ensure accuracy and compliance
Drive execution of quarterly management reporting (balance sheet and cash flow focus)
Partner closely with External Reporting on SEC filings (10-Q and 10-K)
Coordinate enterprise-wide close processes, ensuring strong accountability across Finance
Act as liaison with IT, assessing system impacts on close and coordinating communication of issues
Drive process improvements and transformation initiatives
Collaborate across key stakeholders including Corporate Planning, Revenue, Treasury Accounting, Tax, and others
Support engagement with external auditors on disclosures and accounting matters
Partner with Investor Relations and CFO Office during quarterly close cycles
Benchmark and implement best-in-class close and reporting practices

Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
10+ years of progressive corporate accounting or finance experience (7 + years with Masters), including experience in financial close, consolidations, and external reporting on SEC filings (10-Q and 10-K)
3+ years of experience leading and managing direct and/or global teams
Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
Proven ability to influence across functions
Strong knowledge of financial systems and reporting architecture
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA and/or public accounting experience (strongly preferred)
Experience working in a global, matrixed organization
Ability to drive process improvement and transformation initiatives

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $138,820.00-195,980.00 USD
