Pariveda is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Finance and Accounting team in Dallas. This is a collaborative, analytical, and problem-solving role, one that requires strong judgment, clear communication, and a genuine passion for improving processes, building teams, and developing people.

You Can Expect To:
As a member of the Finance and Accounting team, you will own the enterprise-wide accounting function and lead a high-performing team to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting across multiple entities in compliance with US GAAP. You can expect to:

  • Own the month-end close process across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidated financial statements.

  • Lead the Accounting team and partner with external accounting firm to complete the annual financial statement audit.

  • Prepare and present monthly financial results to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Maintain effective internal financial controls to support accurate reporting, compliance, and risk mitigation.

  • Oversee revenue recognition and project accounting in compliance with US GAAP.

  • Review key balance sheet reconciliations, including WIP, unbilled and deferred revenue, prepaids, benefit and tax accruals, and other accounts.

  • Support international accounting needs, including statutory reporting, intercompany billing, and entity compliance.

  • Drive process and systems improvements, including experimenting with and applying AI and automation to enhance data quality, efficiency, and controls.

  • Research new accounting pronouncements, analyze and communicate their impact on financial reporting and business decisions.

  • Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals through coaching, delegation, and timely feedback.

  • Partner with leaders across the firm to provide timely, accurate financial information and translate complex accounting matters into clear business impacts for decision-making.

  • Work within a hybrid model, collaborating with smart, humble, and supportive colleagues

We Look For:
The successful candidate possesses the following critical qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a people management role (coaching, performance management).

  • CPA required, with a strong foundation in US GAAP and financial statement preparation.

  • Experience managing month-end close, financial reporting, and audits for a mid-sized company or comparable scale.

  • Proven attention to detail combined with strong project management skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities under tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrated experience coaching, developing, and supporting the growth of team members.

  • Background in professional services or project-based businesses (consulting, public accounting, law, architecture, or engineering) with working knowledge of billable hours and revenue recognition, preferred.

  • Multi-entity and international accounting experience

  • Experience in public accounting (audit) and/or corporate accounting

  • Experience with NetSuite highly preferred

  • Strong communicator who can translate complex accounting topics into clear, business-friendly insights for senior leaders and non-finance stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to research and interpret new accounting standards, assess their business impact, and drive timely implementation.

  • Comfort experimenting with AI and technology to improve accounting processes.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or comparable experience.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

  • Transparent and Equitable Salary. The salary range for this position is $139,100 - $153,000 annually. Actual salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.

Skills Required

  • 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a people management role
