GHJ Search and Staffing serves as the recruitment division of GHJ, a prominent national accounting and advisory firm. Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.
We have partnered with an established construction company in the Atlanta area seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles and practices in the construction industry
- Manage the construction accounting function, including general accounting and financial reporting
- Oversee the construction accounting function, including revenue recognition and project accounting
- Manage the accounting team
- Work closely with external CPA firm on audit and tax matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 4+ years of experience
- Exposure to the construction industry and knowledge of percentage of completion/job costing is a must
