Job Duties:

• Manage the treasury function to ensure accurate and timely control of cash, checks, and ACH payments.

• Oversee the prompt and precise preparation of all financial statements and other statistical information for distribution to management, the Board of Directors, creditors, and shareholders on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Lead and empower the accounting and payroll teams, ensuring smooth operations and consistent system management.
• Spearhead the inventory function, guaranteeing accurate cost of sales and inventory balances to drive sound decision-making.
• Take charge of monthly reconciliation of key accounts and efficiently coordinate the preparation of year-end audit information. 
• Direct the accounts payable process to ensure timely and accurate disbursements to vendors, in full alignment with management criteria and established procedures. Oversee the filing of Form 1099 tax information returns to applicable vendors in compliance with tax regulation. 
• Expertly supervise payroll related tasks with UKG software, ensuring procedures and systems are operating properly and efficiently to provide accurate and timely payments of wages to employees. 
• Act as a trusted advisor to management of all levels, offering clear and actionable responses to inquiries regarding accounting information, analyses, reports, and procedures.
• Foster employee growth through training, employee development and effective utilization of all employees. 
• File all payroll related reports in compliance with government regulations, including federal and state, quarterly and annual tax returns, and employee W-2 statements. 
• Reconciliation of all payroll and related benefit accounts. 
• Collaborate on the preparation of the annual company budgets (Capital and Financial), developing effective forms and procedures to control and monitor budget data for accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate preparation of monthly budget variance reports for all departments. 

• Lead special projects and provide in-depth analysis as requested by VP of Finance and Treasurer and Executive Team. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in financial statement preparation and presentation, financial analysis, budgeting, and implementation of accounting controls. 
• 3+ years of public accounting experience, holding an active or inactive CPA certification. 
• At least 2 to 3 years of proven leadership experience in a supervisory role, such as Accounting Manager or Controller.
• Extensive experience in payroll supervision, particularly within large-scale employee populations.
• Proficiency in UKG software is a plus.
• Strong expertise with NetSuite software experience is highly preferred.

Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000/ year
