We are looking for an experienced and highly driven accounting expert to join our Accounting
Team to oversee all accounting processes in Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all EU accounting entities close process, including consolidations
- Participate in the month end close process and record month end accounting
transactions - Review all monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analysis for all
EU entities - Ensure proper coding of expenses and timely payment of vendor invoices
- Process monthly payroll and perform cash reconciliations
- Review statutory financial reports and provide support for other related international
accounting requests - Work with external service providers to meet international regulatory and tax
compliance needs, including VAT/GST - Collaborate with the US Accounting team to ensure global accounting policies are
applied consistently at the subsidiary level - Assist with process and system implementations and propose automated improvements
to improve efficiencies - Assist with implementing international accounting policies for SOX compliance
- Assist with local statutory and annual corporate audits
- Assist with ad-hoc projects
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Deep understanding of local EU and US GAAP accounting standards
- Experience working with high growth companies, ideally in Software/SAAS industry
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to identify errors and opportunities for process
improvement - Excellent verbal and written skills
- Systems savvy, with experience in NetSuite, Blackline, Certify, etc.
Qualifications:
- 6-8+ years of accounting experience working in global entities managing various
accounting entities - Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
CPA or equivalent certification highly preferred, inactive status okay
