Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.
We have partnered with an established construction company in the Atlanta area seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
-Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles and practices in the construction industry
-Manage the construction accounting function, including general accounting and financial reporting
-Oversee the construction accounting function, including revenue recognition and project accounting
-Manage the accounting team
-Work closely with external CPA firm on audit and tax matters
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
-4+ years of experience
-Exposure to the construction industry and knowledge of percentage of completion/job costing is a must
