Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is currently looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial operations, supporting business performance, and maintaining compliance with local and international accounting standards.
What you will do
- Support the Assistant Finance Director in the day-to-day management of financial and accounting operations.
- Oversee General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and international accounting standards (USALI).
- Monitor and analyse key financial KPIs, including RevPAR, GOP, EBITDA, and cost control indicators.
- Support the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
- Analyse variances between budgeted and actual results and propose corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Department Heads to monitor and control operating costs.
- Supervise the financial aspects of contracts and coordinate with the Legal Department on contractual matters, compliance, and risk assessment.
- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Oversee cash management and treasury cash flows.
- Ensure the implementation of internal control procedures and fraud prevention measures.
- Train, coordinate, and support members of the Finance team.
What you bring
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance leadership role, ideally within hospitality. Previous experience in Hotel finance and/or a structured business environment is a strong asset.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, Italian GAAP (OIC), statutory requirements, and USALI standards.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or hospitality finance platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and lead high-performing teams.
- Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.

Schedule & Hours:
• Full-time position based in Florence, Italy. Candidates must have valid authorization to work in Italy at the time of application.
