We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the company's accounting, treasury, and statutory compliance functions. In this role, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with Malaysian accounting and tax regulations, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of financial operations while driving process improvements.
What You'll Do
Manage treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting and banking relationships.
Oversee General Ledger (GL) activities, including month-end closing, accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Handle fixed asset accounting and cost accounting to ensure accurate financial records.
Ensure compliance with e-Invoicing, withholding tax, SST, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements.
Prepare transfer pricing documentation and quarterly tax reports.
Coordinate statutory audits and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and regulatory authorities, including CCM, LHDN, MIDA and etc.
Manage corporate governance matters, including board resolutions and stamp duty requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting while maintaining strong internal controls.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance finance processes and operational efficiency.
What You'll Need
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ICAEW, MICPA, CPA, or equivalent.
4–5 years of relevant accounting experience, with audit experience being an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
