We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Manager to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions. This role will have 2-3 direct reports.

These are the key ways you’ll contribute and create impact in this role:

• Manage various payroll functions, including payroll processing for our US and Canadian entities.

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including: month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts,and  general ledger.

• Approve detailed account reconciliations and maintain general ledger integrity.

• Assisting with the revenue recognition process, ensuring all revenue is recorded in compliance with GAAP (ASC 606) for our multiple product lines

• Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, including running our financial flux monthly  meeting

•  Implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting accuracy.

• Ask questions, be curious, and challenge old ways of thinking and processes.

🚀 The Foundation for Success - These are the experiences and strengths that will set you up for success in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. CPA is a plus

• Minimum of 7-10 years of related accounting experience, with 2-3 years being a direct manager, ideally within a fast-paced environment.With a mix of Big 4 and operating experience.

• Strong familiarity with accounting principles (GAAP) and experience with financial reporting.

• Proficiency in accounting software/ ERP like Netsuite and Google Sheets

• Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
