Ferring+You

As our Accounting Manager you’ll ensure the integrity, compliance, and excellence of the company’s accounting and financial operations in Brazil, maintaining full alignment with local statutory requirements and global corporate guidelines.

This role combines strong statutory accounting expertise with a controlling mindset, acting as a reliable partner to the Head of Finance to drive governance, operational efficiency, and high-quality financial insights.

Your day at Ferring

• Lead full monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

• Prepare and sign statutory financial statements.

• Ensure proper accounting records and reporting (A2R process).

• Guarantee compliance with local accounting standards and global corporate policies.

• Support system parameterization in accordance with new tax rules.

• Oversee statutory filings and compliance, including:

• Accounting obligations (ECD and ECF)

• Financial regulatory reporting (BACEN)

• Ensure compliance with Brazilian tax legislation and international corporate standards.

• Maintain alignment between local statutory reporting and global finance directives.

• Monitor and implement regulatory and tax updates.

• Monitor and analyze OPEX and CAPEX.

• Provide management reporting and financial insights to support decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with global Transfer Pricing policies.

• Act as Area Controller with strong focus on governance and financial accuracy.

• Interface closely with our Shared Service Center in Portugal for transactional execution and financial alignment.

• Act with a strong audit and governance mindset.

• Ensure effectiveness of Internal Control Systems (ICS).

• Ensure compliance with local and global SOPs and internal policies.

• Drive process improvements and change management initiatives.

Behind our innovation…There’s you

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• Active CRC certification (mandatory) with authorization to sign financial statements.

• Solid experience in statutory accounting and controlling.

• Strong background in full financial closing processes.

• In-depth knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation.

• Experience managing internal and external audits.

• ERP experience (SAP considered a strong advantage and Proteus is a plus).

• Intermediate to advanced English for interaction with global stakeholders.

• Strong governance and compliance orientation.

• High level of accountability and ownership.

• Collaborative approach in a matrix environment.

• Proactive and solution-oriented.

• Ability to operate in a dynamic and transforming environment.
