We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer to join our dynamic and experienced Environmental Control Systems (ECS) team, in Brazil.
This role supports the design, analysis, and integration of electrical systems for commercial aircraft Environmental Control Systems, including cabin pressure control, air conditioning, ventilation, and related subsystems.
You will work closely with global teams and suppliers to develop, validate, and certify ECS electrical systems, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design and analysis activities for ECS electrical equipment and airplane wiring systems.
- Perform and document analyses to validate and verify that systems and components meet operational and certification requirements.
- Support supplier development, testing, and production activities to optimize system integration.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and coaching to engineering team members.
- Review and approve technical deliverables including Functional Specifications, Wiring Diagrams reviews, Customers Aircraft Electrical Configuration, Engineering Interface Documents, Coordination Sheets, Safety and Functional Tests, Aircraft Manuals, Engineering Change Document, System Design Descriptions, System Safety Assessments and related artifacts, System Design Tests, Qualification Documentation, and others.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ECS systems, Wire Design, Wire Installation, EME, Cabin Systems, Functional Test, Certification.
This position is hybrid / Telecommuting. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
- Must have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA). Applicable to Brazilian, recent engineering graduates within 6 months and foreign engineers when the employer is willing visa sponsor.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills And Experience):
- Experience with aerospace certification standards such as SAE ARP4754A (System Development), ARP4761 (Safety Assessment), RTCA DO-160 (Environmental Testing), and electrical/electromagnetic standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-functional, global team environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuit design, power distribution, electromagnetic compatibility, bonding and grounding in Aerospace applications.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Experience mentoring and coaching engineering teams.
- Experience with aerospace certification standards such as:
- SAE ARP5580 - Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) Design and Installation
- SAE ARP5412 - Aircraft Electrical Power Characteristics and Their Effects on Equipment
- SAE ARP5414 - Aircraft Electrical Power Quality
- MIL-STD-461 - Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Requirements for Equipment
- MIL-STD-704 - Aircraft Electric Power Characteristics
- SAE ARP1755 - Aircraft Electrical Bonding and Grounding Practices
