Our Accounting Internship provides hands-on experience for students interested in building a career in accounting or finance. Interns will gain exposure to real-world accounting operations, work alongside experienced professionals, and develop practical skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment. You will also have the opportunity to attend an organized event at our Corporate office where you’ll connect with fellow interns, network with company leaders, and participate in a volunteer event.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with the Treasury Department, Direct Bill, and Agency Bill teams with accounting-related workflows and issue resolution.
Participate in process improvement initiatives, helping document current processes and identify efficiencies
Understand how the team supports accounting operations that serve and support multiple agency locations
Help analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, or discrepancies
Understand how the department collaborates cross-functionally with finance, operations, and agency partners
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
Preferred majors include, Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related fields
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, preferably Excel
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Curious, motivated, and eager to learn about the insurance industry and grow professionally
