IKEA Services (Vietnam) Co., Ltd is currently looking for a 6-month Accounting Intern working in our Ho Chi Minh office.
Scope of assignment
- Expense management and payment processing.
- Follow company procedures for travel expense claims, ensuring compliance with Company's policies and regulations.
- Perform simple bookkeeping tasks related to daily financial transactions (Eg: reclassification, VAT input)
- Assist in invoice handling, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely processing with weekly payment via Inter IKEA Group system
- System Implementation Support
- Assist CA on document local accounting workflows and identify gap, local statutory needs - FFP - Wave 1
- Assist CA on cleaning current financial data, prepare master data for migration - FFP - Wave 1
- Year-end Closing Support
- Support team in planning & communicating for YE closing timeline.
- Support team in working with auditors and tax consultants: preparation data and documents
- Other ad-hoc assignments required by the supervisor. Eg: Formalize and translate related policies for tax purpose.
Expected Key deliverables
- Successfully process and support daily accounting activities with accuracy and compliance to policies and procedures.
- Gain hands-on experience with multinational finance systems and demonstrate the ability to perform assigned transactions independently under supervision.
- Contribute to year-end closing activities by preparing supporting schedules, reports, and documentation required by auditors and tax consultants.
- 3rd or last year student, with Internship Recommendation letter from their University
- Good communication in English and proactive attitude
- Good computer skills, especially Excel and Word
- Good knowledge of finance, accounting or related fields
- Interested in Accounting – Tax – Legal and Standard Operating Procedures
