PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Kemper interns will be exposed to the following concepts and experiences.

• Actively participate in the month-end close process for assigned areas of responsibility.

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations timely and accurately.

• Assist with ad hoc projects, including process documentation and updates, as assigned.

• Participate in regular team meetings and provide feedback regarding team initiatives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE):

• Junior or Senior status enrolled at University of Chicago, Northwestern University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, or Notre Dame University.

• Qualifying majors in an academic area related to financial services or insurance industry, such as, finance, data analytics, communications, accounting, or business administration.

• Non-business majors are welcome if strong interest in financial services and/or insurance industry.  

• A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale.

• This position is a hybrid role and may require work in the office 3-4 days a week.

• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

The hourly rate for this opportunity is $22.00.
