About the location:

1. Assist in all administrative duties as required, especially dealing effectively with the Director of Finance's incoming and outgoing correspondence.

2. Receive, direct or determine action required on all telephone inquiries whenever they are not independently handled.

3. Establish and maintain all files for the Director of Finance, Assistant Director of Finance and Staff Accountants including a trace system to permit efficient follow-up action.

4. Act as a liaison between the Director of Finance and employee related inquiries. Maintain files as needed for Accounting staff records of attendance and other administrative.

5. Maintain both local and corporate policy and procedure manuals.

6. Establish, update and maintain files on all contracts, leases and agreements as directed.

7. Maintain any necessary legal, accounting, and tax guides as updates are received.

8. Maintain an inventory of all necessary forms, stationery and related office supplies for the Accounting office.

9. Open, date stamp and distribute to appropriate personnel all Accounting office mail.

10. Prepare the Daily Mail Cash Receipts Listing to ensure segregation of duties from clerical staff.

11. Mail or forward Accounts Payables checks to Vendors and Suppliers to ensure segregation of duties from clerical staff.

12. Distribute all month-end Financial Statements and Supporting Schedules to Four Seasons Hotels Limited and owners when applicable.

13. Assist the Accounts Payable in checking the vendor statements, getting the approval signatures and filing documents.

14. Assist the Staff Accountant in the preparation and reporting of daily and/or monthly results as well as in the monitoring of all internal controls and procedures affecting the Food and Beverage operation in the hotel.

15. Assist in month-end closings, as required; this to include taking of physical inventory, pricing, extending etc.

16. Must be willing to assist in the absence of any member of department.

17. Must be willing to assist with hotel and departmental needs and initiatives where applicable.

18. Conduct self in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels.

19. Generally perform any additional duties, ad hoc reports, tasks and/or functions as assigned by the Director of Finance, the Assistant Director of Finance or Staff Accountant.
