Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Coordinator to join our team at the Laredo Terminal. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the same or related field
- Knowledge of AR/AP processes, invoicing, journal entries, and accruals
- Bilingualism in English and Spanish is a strong asset
- Experience with Workday is considered an asset
- Experience in the transportation/logistics industry is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and other accounting tools
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
