What You'll Do
- Process high-volume capitation, bonus, and special handling check runs through IDX and EZCap, ensuring proper signatures, documentation, and distribution.
- Prepare deposit pay files and run associated reports; process manual and electronic cash deposits for owned and managed accounts while maintaining internal controls.
- Perform bank reconciliations and verify posting reports to ensure all financial data balances accurately across general ledger companies.
- Upload, key, and post journal entries; organize and file entries for easy retrieval by the broader Accounting team.
- Generate and distribute reports from IDX and EZCap; identify and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Provide backup support for vendor accounts payable processing, including routing invoices, keying vouchers into MAS, and mailing checks with appropriate documentation.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements and automation to streamline day-to-day workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in accounting, finance, or a healthcare finance environment
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage high-volume, repetitive processes with consistency and precision
- High School diploma or GED
Preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Experience with IDX and/or EZCap systems
- Prior experience in a healthcare or managed care environment
Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
- This position will be onsite. The office is located at 600 City Parkway West 10th Floor, Orange, CA 92868.
- The national target pay range for this role is $26.00 - $32.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location (current or future), experience, and other job-related factors.
