The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:
$43,100.00 - $64,700.00Purpose Statement: The Accounting Associate is responsible for performing payable processes and procure-to-pay related activities. Will take on more advanced responsibilities such as complex reconciliations and handling more significant portions of financial transactions.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Weekly and month end reconciliation of all accounts.
- Ensure all expenses are processed accurately and deal with queries in a timely manner and in accordance with Plexus guidelines.
- Liaise with HR and payroll to ensure accurate payroll data. Payment of payroll taxes. Reconcile all accounts.
- Payment of proforma invoices and reconciliation to the balance sheet.
- To ensure that all supplier queries are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in Accounting is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Six (6) years of related experience is required; Six (6) or more years of related experience is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
Other Qualifications:
- Excellent math skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Excel skills
- Intermediate decision making and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Possess good organizational skills
- Microsoft Dynamics AX experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
