Brown & Brown is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our growing team in Russellville, AR.
The Accounting Associate will provide support to the accounting team along with providing back to the operational admin team.
How You Will Contribute:
Match carrier commission statements to checks and EFT’s received.
Extract carrier commission statements from web-sites
Follow up on any commission statements not received from carriers.
Invoice commissions to clients following direct bill procedures.
Compare direct bill report by billing company for reconciliation.
Carrier reconciliations, research and correct discrepancies.
Create journal entries in AMFRS and workday.
Assist with maintaining insurance license records and renewals.
Processing and distributing daily mail and office email inbox messages.
Support on answering main line calls throughout the day.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
High School Diploma
1 – 3 years' experience in a similar position
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Proficient with MS Office Suite
