We are currently seeking an Accounting Associate to prepare schedules and workpapers, assist with the monthly and quarterly accounting close, complete processes such as bank and mortgage reconciliations, run and distribute reports, prepare cash receipt and vendor request forms, prepare lender packages, and perform other ad hoc projects as assigned.
The right candidate will have strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills, including the ability to work with all levels of employees across the Company, as well the ability to focus on meeting accounting department deadlines. The individual must thrive in a team environment and be flexible regarding ad hoc reporting and must respond to inquiries with a sense of urgency.
Requirements:
Minimum of an associate’s degree in accounting
Working knowledge of real estate and accounting systems is a plus
Strong MS Office skills
At least 2 years of strong bookkeeping and reconciliation experience
The expected salary is anticipated to be approximately $55,000. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.
