Our food service division manages a network of quick-service and counter-service locations across the greater Chicagoland area, serving thousands of customers every day at high-traffic venues, including commercial districts, transit hubs, and retail centers.
ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for an Accounting Assistant to support day-to-day accounting activities and help maintain accurate financial records. This role is a good fit for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers, documents, and spreadsheets in a remote environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DOAssist with routine accounting and bookkeeping tasks
Enter and maintain financial information in accounting systems and spreadsheets
Review invoices, payments, and financial documents for accuracy
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Assist with account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Maintain organized financial records and documentation
Prepare basic reports and provide administrative support to the accounting team
Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, administration, or a similar role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and financial records
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Good organization and time-management skills
Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally
Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
Reliable internet connection and workspace
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Experience with accounting or bookkeeping software
Knowledge of accounts payable or accounts receivable processes
Experience with invoice processing or account reconciliation
Background in food service, retail, hospitality, or other multi-location businesses
$20–$27 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
