Under general supervision of the Controller, the Accounting Assistant performs a variety of accounting and administrative tasks in support of the Accounting Team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping using QuickBooks accounting software
- Accounts Payable
- Invoice review, scanning
- Check processing, mailing
- Vendor maintenance
- Supply pricing management
- Accounts Receivable
- Prepare deposits
- Payment posting
- Filing, clerical work, miscellaneous administrative projects
- Opening, sorting, and distributing mail
- Assist with yearly tax preparation and reporting
- Assist in monthly reconciliations
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Controller and Accounting Staff
- Cultivate relationships with the client, physicians, clinical staff, and MedBridge team
- Perform other duties as assigned
