​The Accounting Assistant supports day-to-day accounting operations with a primary focus on employee expense reimbursements, corporate credit card transaction processing, and Gainshare incentive administration. This role ensures accurate, timely processing and compliance with company policies while providing excellent internal customer service.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in an accounting or finance support role.

  • Experience processing expense reimbursements and/or corporate credit cards.

  • Experience with expense management systems (e.g., Concur, Expensify, or similar) preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.

Travel: None

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Overtime may be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews, audits, and processes team members expense reimbursement submissions in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensures receipts, documentation, and approvals are complete and compliant.
  • Communicates with team members regarding missing or unclear expense details.
  • Resolves reimbursement discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintains accurate records and supports expense-related reporting.
  • Processes and reconciles corporate credit card transactions.
  • Reviews transactions for accuracy, proper coding, and policy compliance.
  • Follows up with cardholders on missing receipts or questionable charges.
  • Processes the calculation, tracking, and reporting of Gainshare incentive programs.
  • Validates supporting data and ensures calculations align with program guidelines
  • Coordinates with Talent, Operations, and Payroll to ensure accurate and timely payouts.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
