We are seeking an experienced accounting leader to support core controllership responsibilities for one of our US entities while driving accounting integration and transformation initiatives. This role requires a strong accounting foundation, sound judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, evolving environment. The ideal candidate brings deep accounting experience, exposure to acquired entity integrations, and a mindset focused on process improvement, leveraging technology, and enabling scalable finance operations. 

Position Summary

The Manager, Accounting Operations & Integrations will play a key role in leading accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the integration of acquired entities. This individual will focus on core accounting and controllership activities, while also partnering closely with cross-functional teams to support transformation and optimization efforts over time.  
 

The role requires balancing day-to-day accounting execution with longer-term process improvements, helping transition acquired businesses into standardized and scalable back-office operations.

Let’s talk about Responsibilities

  • Lead and support accounting activities to ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements. 

  • Serve as a key stakeholder in system implementations, integrations, and process transformation initiatives ensuring alignment with accounting requirements. 

  • Oversee key controllership processes through a team of four direct reports, supporting journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and revenue reconciliation. 

  • Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, accounting standards (including US GAAP), and regulatory requirements. 

    Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements. 

  • Deploy accounting processes, controls and procedures to support accurate and scalable operations.

  • May assist in the setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report revenue and expense items, in accordance with the company policies. 

  • Interpret financial results and communicate insights to stakeholders and cross-functional partners. 

  • May be involved in reviewing, tracking and maintaining billing information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. 

  • Support execution of strategic and operational objectives, balancing accounting excellence with transformation priorities. 

  • Collaborate across functional teams, including Accounting, Finance, and Operations, to support integration and process improvement efforts. 

  • Coaches team members on performance, provide inputs for performance evaluations and might be involved in pay actions. 

  • Lead and support the integration of acquired accounting operations into standardized systems and processes. 

  • Partner with transformation and optimization teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.

  • Regional change champion partnering with the Global Process Owners to leverage technology and automation to improve accounting workflows and scalability within the Americas region.

  • Support ongoing transformation initiatives. 

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.

  • 8+ years of related experience.

  • 2+ years of people management experience.

  • Strong accounting foundation with the ability to analyze and solve problems using sound judgment in dynamic environments.

  • Experience in accounting integration of acquired entities. 

  • Demonstrated ability to balance core accounting responsibilities with process improvement or transformation initiatives. 

  • Experience working in environments involving acquisitions, integrations, or operational transitions.  

  • Exposure to operational accounting (e.g., inventory or business operations processes) is a plus.  

  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. 

Preferred

  • CPA Preferred.

  • Experience with QuickBooks and/or Oracle.

  • Experience in finance transformation, automation or digital initiatives.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

At Resmed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is: $114,000-$140,000.

For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
