This Position reports to:
Accounting & Reporting Manager - GeneralYou will be working as Team Lead and will be part of Finance Operational Service based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Accounting & Reporting Manager and will be responsible to support accounting and reporting matters to business or reporting units through resolution of accounting and reporting questions, financial statement reviews and preparation, as well as follow-up on accounting issues.
The work model for the role is: Onsite
This role is contributing to the: Finance Function
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Performing general accounting activities and recording of financial transactions.
- Conducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary for any discrepancies.
- Performing accounting analysis and generating reports to support finance and business leaders thus facilitate decision making.
- Performing month end book closing activities.
- Ensuring that the group reporting is performed on time and manage the stake holders.
- Co-ordinating with internal and external auditors.
- Initiating the quality improvement initiatives in the R2R area

Skills Required

- Minimum 10 years of experience in general accounting, reporting, reconciliation and processing of journal entries
- Experience in handling a team
- Experience in Record to Report (R2R)
- Good communication skills
