Position Summary:
The Accounting Analyst provides accounting support and performs a variety of tasks. He/she performs a variety of work utilizing judgment within prescribed standards and procedures and will work with a team of Accountants within Agency Bill.
Principal Responsibilities:
Processes payments through various websites and BRP bank accounts.
Completion of ad hoc requests.
Assist with vendor payable research projects.
Reviews accounts for vendor payable discrepancies and reconciles differences.
Exhibits ownership over assigned tasks.
Ability to research and troubleshoot.

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
Some advanced coursework in Accounting or 0 to 2 years of Accounting experience
General knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Experience in Insurance accounting is preferred, but not required.
Excellent computer skills in database management and record keeping.
Moderate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Must possess excellent organizational skills.
Exhibits professional skepticism.
Must demonstrate the organization’s core values, exuding behavior aligned with the firm’s culture.
Special Working Conditions:
Fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Must be able to interact effectively with various levels of colleagues both inside and outside the accounting organization.
