Title: Accounting Analyst

About this Job

We are in the search for an accounting analyst to join our team. The role involves managing routine accounting tasks in addition to reporting directly to our Head of Accounting. This individual will focus primarily on processing accounts payable transactions, bookkeeping, commission tracking, and the analysis and cleaning of data.

Objectives of this Role

  • Maintaining accurate accounting records
  • Balancing routine tasks with analytical duties
  • Support the accounting team by achieving goals and completing related tasks

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable:
    • Proper vendor onboarding
    • Accurate invoices for vendors
    • Collecting and maintaining vendor contracts
  • Sales Agent Commissions Payable:
    • Accurate and timely payment of sales agents
    • Ensure all potential adjustments are identified
  • Credit Card Payable:
    • Collect all relevant documentation
    • Process all payments in QuickBooks, reviewing and approving in real time
    • Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with analysis of budget variances 

Skills & Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
  • Previous experience in accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping, or related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
