As an Accounting Analyst, you will be part of a team within the Finance organization that ensures key financial measures and metrics used across the organization for reporting and analytics are accurate and complete. Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst for Insurance Carrier.
Locations: Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia.
What you will do
- Analyze and prepare documentation to support financial reconciliations by book of business.
- Prepare journal entries, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the ledger.
- Identify, analyze, research, and resolve system anomalies.
- Collaborate with IT and Business to resolve reconciliation variances.
- Validate accounting impact from system changes.
- Support the business units, auditors, state regulators and actuarial as assigned.
- Innovate and drive process improvement.
- Work in a strong team environment with a focus on collaboration, diversity in thought and inclusion.
- Articulate results effectively to management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field with an emphasis on accounting
- 1-3 years of experience (preferably, 1-2 years of audit experience)
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- Self-starter and quick learner
