As an Accounting Analyst, you will be part of a team within the Finance organization that ensures key financial measures and metrics used across the organization for reporting and analytics are accurate and complete. Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst for Insurance Carrier.

Locations: Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia.

What you will do

  • Analyze and prepare documentation to support financial reconciliations by book of business.
  • Prepare journal entries, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the ledger.
  • Identify, analyze, research, and resolve system anomalies.
  • Collaborate with IT and Business to resolve reconciliation variances.
  • Validate accounting impact from system changes.
  • Support the business units, auditors, state regulators and actuarial as assigned.
  • Innovate and drive process improvement.
  • Work in a strong team environment with a focus on collaboration, diversity in thought and inclusion.
  • Articulate results effectively to management
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field with an emphasis on accounting 
  • 1-3 years of experience (preferably, 1-2 years of audit experience)
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
  • Self-starter and quick learner
  • Team player and effective collaborator
  • Meticulous with an unrelenting attention to detail 
  • Exceptional analytical skills and an inquisitive mind
  • Flexible and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.

  • Financial/data experience
  • Business analysis experience
  • SAP application experience, preferred Hana S4, or strong experience in similar application
  • Accounting background - general ledger balance is properly controlled.
