Job Description

What You'll Do:

The Accounting Administrator supports the day-to-day operations of the Accounting department through a combination of administrative, customer service, and basic bookkeeping responsibilities.

  • Open, sort, scan, and distribute incoming accounting mail, invoices, payments, and financial correspondence.
  • Monitor and respond to routine inquiries received through Accounting email inboxes, escalating issues as needed.
  • Assist with data entry and maintenance of accounting records within company financial systems.
  • Verify account balances, invoices, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes through document collection, tracking, and record maintenance.
  • Organize, file, and maintain digital and physical accounting records in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist with expense reports, reimbursement requests, and other routine accounting transactions.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Accounting team and assist with special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred; recent graduates and candidates completing their final year of study are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous accounting internship, bookkeeping experience, or administrative experience supporting accounting or finance functions preferred.

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you will be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job is $22.00 to $28.00 per hour. Individual salaries within those ranges takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to education; experience and training; licensure and certifications; knowledge and skill sets; and other business and organizational needs.
