This position provides accounting support across DEME business entities in France while interacting with the accounting team lead and Finance Manager France.Your responsibilities
- Timely recording of accounting transactions such as Accounts Payable, Receivable and Bank all with a high degree of accuracy
- Invoice processing including obtaining the necessary internal approvals and collating the pertaining documents including purchase orders, delivery notes, etc.
- Maintaining good record keeping
- Dealing with supplier invoicing queries including statement reconciliations
- Assisting with external financial audits
- General office admin duties and other ad hoc tasks
Your profile
- At least 2 years relevant experience either in practice or industry
- To be diligent, trustworthy and accountable
- Ability to recognize and prioritize tasks ahead of deadlines
- To be able to work under own initiative
- Good attention to detail with a systematic approach
- Customer service orientated towards internal and external stakeholders
- You can express yourself in English and French. The knowledge of other languages is an asset
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of an international account software or ERP system, e.g. Microsoft Dynamics D365, is a plus
