About the Role
We are looking for an Accountant to support finance and accounting operations in Vietnam. This role will be responsible for invoice processing, expense recording, audit support, and communication with local service providers.
The ideal candidate has solid knowledge of Vietnamese accounting and tax regulations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect invoices from vendors and internal departments on a daily basis.
- Review and verify invoices, contracts, and supporting documents to ensure compliance with Vietnamese accounting and tax regulations.
- Record expenses, petty cash transactions, and related documentation in the accounting system in accordance with VAS and IFRS.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
- Support external audits by preparing required documents and providing explanations when needed.
- Communicate with local service providers on accounting and finance-related matters.
- Prepare ad hoc reports as requested by management or the finance team.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of in-house accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field.
- Good understanding of Vietnamese accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Very good command of English.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and perform under pressure.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA.
Skills Required
