What You'll Do
- Perform manual journal entries and prepare quality supporting documentation in accordance with company policy and internal controls, meeting established deadlines
- Prepare and maintain high-quality reconciliations for general ledger accounts on a monthly basis — including prepaid assets, cash, and accrued expenses — ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with company policy and internal controls
- Coordinate with other finance teams, including Accounts Payable, FP&A, and Treasury, to support an accurate and timely close process on a monthly basis
- Prepare various financial statement schedules used in monthly and quarterly reporting
- Work with internal & external auditors to provide support and analysis
- Cross-train on roles and responsibilities with other accountants in the group to serve as backup for certain functions
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by documenting processes, surfacing inefficiencies, and driving initiatives that enhance the overall effectiveness of the accounting function
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related experience, an advanced degree, or an equivalent combination of both
- Experience with month-end close processes and account reconciliations
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong communicator across all levels — internally and externally
- Detail-oriented, collaborative, and genuinely curious
