We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant with a strong background in auditing, preferably from Big 4 firms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, supporting financial reporting, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role requires strong attention to detail, financial analysis skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor company transactions
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit schedules
Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Assist in budget preparation and financial analysis
Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors when required
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CA are an advantage.
Experience working in the UAE is preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience working as an Accountant
Minimum 3 years of auditing experience in Big 4 audit firms (PwC, Deloitte, EY, or KPMG preferred)
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience with financial reconciliations and audit support
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Skills Required
