A leading organization in the UAE is looking for an
Accountant – E-Invoicing & GST Compliance to support its readiness and
preparation for the upcoming UAE E-Invoicing framework. This is an excellent

E-Invoicing is a major development in the UAE, and our
client is proactively preparing its systems, processes, and controls to ensure
full compliance with future regulatory requirements. The successful candidate
will bring practical experience gained in countries where E-Invoicing is
already established, particularly India or Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Support
the company's E-Invoicing implementation and compliance initiatives.
- Assist
in configuring ERP systems to generate compliant electronic invoices.
- Coordinate
with technology teams and service providers to support E-Invoicing
integration.
- Ensure
invoice data and formats comply with regulatory requirements.
- Generate
and manage electronic invoices for business transactions.
- Work
with XML formats, validation requirements, and invoice transmission
processes.
- Support
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities.
- Process
supplier invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Prepare
journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
- Assist
with VAT/GST compliance and reporting requirements.
- Participate
in testing, process improvements, and E-Invoicing readiness activities.
Requirements
Skills Required
- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)
- CA Inter qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in E-Invoicing and accounting functions
- Hands-on experience with E-Invoicing frameworks in India or Saudi Arabia
- Good understanding of GST and/or VAT regulations
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of XML invoice formats and E-Invoicing validation processes
- Experience in retail, logistics, FMCG, distribution or similar industries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Current residency and work in India or Saudi Arabia (UAE-based candidates not considered)
- Experience with India GST E-Invoicing, GSTN integration, IRN generation, E-Way Bill processes
- Experience with Saudi Arabia ZATCA Phase 1 or Phase 2, Peppol network, ASP integration
- Experience on ERP integration projects and digital tax compliance projects
