Manage end-to-end payroll operations, statutory compliance, and payroll accounting across APAC countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements.
How you will make an impact:
- Execute end-to-end payroll processing for APAC regions (monthly/bi-weekly cycles).
- Validate all payroll inputs, including hires, exits, variable pay, benefits, and equity (RSU/ESPP).
- Review payroll outputs, variance reports, and ensure data accuracy.
- Coordinate with ADP and local payroll vendors for timely and accurate processing.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, social security regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Oversee and validate statutory filings and payments within defined timelines.
- Liaise with external tax advisors on compliance and advisory matters.
- Prepare, review, and post payroll-related journal entries (salary, accruals, reversals).
- Perform reconciliations (payroll liabilities, taxes, benefits, and stock compensation) and support month-end close with accurate GL reporting.
- Supporting audits, internal controls (SOX), and cross-functional collaboration.
The Must have:
- CA Intermediate (CA Inter), MCom, or MBA in Finance.
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a multinational environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Payroll software, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of Multi country payroll process, payroll accounting, reconciliations, and GL process.
Nice to have:
- Exposure to SOX controls and audit processes
- Experience with global payroll systems
- Experience in Payroll Tax filings
