Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Handle manual accounting processes where required.
- Manage and monitor store operations, stock records, and inventory control.
- Conduct stock reconciliations and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budget tracking.
- Utilize accounting software (preferably Zoho) for accounting and financial management tasks.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records using digital and cloud-based storage systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders on finance-related matters.
- Support audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance activities.
- Perform any other finance and administrative duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 – 10 years’ proven experience as an Accountant.
- Strong knowledge of manual accounting practices is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), accounting software (Zoho preferred), email communication, and cloud storage platforms.
- Experience in stock management and inventory control.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and collaborate effectively within a team.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Valid driving license is an added advantage.
Skills Required
