Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Close• Manage a full set of accounts, including month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare accurate journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Process and reconcile intercompany transactions with related parties
• Support accounting activities across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local requirements
• Coordinate with regional stakeholders on accounting matters
• Prepare accurate VAT/GST and corporate income tax computations
• Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, IRAS regulations, US GAAP, and applicable overseas accounting standards
• Support statutory filings and regulatory submissions for Singapore and regional entities
• Coordinate year-end financial and tax audits
• Liaise with external auditors and tax agents across Singapore and other jurisdictions
• Prepare audit schedules and respond to audit queries in a timely manner
• Support accounting and reporting for government grants
• Apply accounting knowledge across non-Singapore jurisdictions (e.g. other Southeast Asian countries)
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and regional standardisation
Minimum Qualifications
Degree in Accounting or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including exposure to regional or overseas accounting
Strong understanding of accounting principles across multiple jurisdictions
Hands-on experience with SAP is required
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Effective communicator able to work across cultures and regions
