Accountant
What will be your tasks:
As our Accountant, you will be part of the accounting function of our manufacturing unit. This is a pivotal role where you will perform overall accounting activities and bookeeping to ensure financial excellence and process efficency, in addition you will support on the preparation of Financial Statements and Tax declarations.
- Perform overall accounting activities and bookeeping (accounting entries, accruals, etc) in compliance with legal requirements and internal policies,
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and year-end closings, ensuring Group deadlines are met with precision,
- Participate in the preparation of Tax returns (VAT, CIT, etc),
- Participate in the preparation of Statutory Reports to KSH, MNB, etc.,
- Assure data integrity, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Account Reconciliation, Inter-Company, etc.,
- Cooperate and assist in the preparation of information for Auditors, relevant Authorities and Business Partners,
- Following Group guidelines, Accounting procedures and Compliance requirements,
- Actively participating in the development and improvement of financial and accounting processes, proposing efficiency-enhancing solutions.
Who we are looking for:
- University Degree,
- 3+ years accounting experience (preferably in maufacturing environment),
- Up to date Knowledge of Accounting HAS, IFRS and Tax regulations
- Preferably English knowledge
- Proficiency in ERP (SAP experience is a plus), ,
- A proactive problem-solver with a sharp analytical eye and deadline oriented approach,
- Knowledge of both automated and manual accounting principles, procedures and practices is important
