About the Role
We are looking for a qualified Accountant to support Revenue and Billing Operations through strong analysis, reporting, and commercial insight.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with the business, understanding how projects are structured and delivered, and translating that information into meaningful profitability and margin reporting. You will support month‑end activities and work across teams to ensure project information and financial data support accurate reporting and informed decision‑making.
The role has a strong analytical focus and suits an accountant who enjoys working with data, systems, and stakeholders rather than traditional transactional accounting.
What You’ll Do
As an Accountant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing and supporting monthly profitability and margin reporting, providing insight at a project and portfolio level
- Analysing project‑level financial performance, including margin movements, trends, and key drivers
- Reviewing project setup in SuiteProjects Pro to ensure project information supports accurate revenue and margin reporting
- Identifying and investigating project setup or data issues that may impact reporting quality or commercial outcomes
- Working collaboratively with Billing Operations, Finance, and Revenue stakeholders to clarify information and resolve issues
- Providing clear, practical insights into revenue and margin performance to support planning and decision‑making
- Contributing to improvements in reporting, data quality, and analytical processes
- Supporting ad hoc analysis and reporting requests as required
What You’ll Bring
As an Accountant, you will be expected to demonstrate:
- CA or CPA qualification (essential)
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 3–5 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role, ideally within a project‑based, services, or revenue‑focused environment
- A solid working understanding of revenue accounting principles and IFRS 15, with the ability to apply concepts in a practical business context
- Experience working with ERP and project accounting systems (e.g. NetSuite / SuiteProjects Pro or similar)
- Strong analytical skills and an interest in understanding how financial results connect to operational activity
- High attention to detail and a focus on producing accurate, reliable information
- Confidence working with non‑finance stakeholders and explaining financial outcomes clearly
- Strong Excel and systems capability
