Key Responsibilities
- Essential Functions
- Accurately code and post all cash receipts to the appropriate general ledger and accounts
- Prepare monthly cash receipts reports and corresponding payables reports
- Reconcile and balance cash receipts
- Assist with the annual financial audit as requested
- Prepare and post journal entries, including cost allocations, grant activity, and monthly accruals
- Perform the annual physical inventory of fixed assets and maintain the fixed asset tracking system
Qualifications
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Accounting or a related field strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced working knowledge of Excel
