To sustain the company's growth and expand our services, we are currently looking for an Accountant.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Monitor accounts receivable to ensure prompt collection of insurance premiums and registration in the business and accounting IT systems
- Act as the primary contact person for brokers, other sales intermediaries and clients concerning amounts due, respond to inquiries, reconcile payments
- Prepare commission payments to brokers and sales intermediaries if relevant
- Prepare and review weekly ageing reports on balances
- Prepare monthly reports for internal stakeholders and insurance partners concerning insurance premiums sold, collected and outstanding
- Assist with the annual statutory audit
- Support the accounting
Qualifications and Experience:
- Higher Diploma or above in accounting
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts receivable or management accounting role
- Good Excel skills are essential
- Experience in SAP Business One would be an advantage
- Previous involvement in IT system migrations would also be beneficial
Key skills:
- Pro-active with good commercial awareness
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Good command of verbal and written English and Chinese
- Open-minded and adaptable to change
