Accountant

GoodData seeks an Accountant for the GoodData accounting team in our Prague office.

In our Global Finance Team, we take care of all the company’s financial activities at GoodData – from planning and analysis to precise accounting. We are 10 great people working together as a well-coordinated team within the FP&A and Accounting departments. Right now, we are looking for a new colleague to join us as a Full-Time Accountant.

• Perform accounting activities in CZ entity (AP, AR, etc.), and other non-US subsidiaries,

• Perform duties according closing schedule and according to task list to meet deadline of monthly closing activities,

• Book accounting data into our cloud accounting system (no papers - all in electronic form),

• Responsibility for processing part of global T&E expenses and accounts payable for all GD entities,

• Guide employees through steps in the expenses processing and responsibility for review and processing of expenses,

• Responsibility for reports of Czech Statistical Office,

• Cooperate on yearly statutory audits and collect supporting files, prepare more complex reports and audit tables (for CZ entity, and other non-US subsidiaries)

• Perform reconciliations of assigned accounts (bank accounts, AP, AR, etc.).

• Work closely with other members of the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate results.

• Work independently on assigned tasks end to end,

• Corporate with the US accounting team on some accounting tasks,

• Assists with ad-hoc projects as needed.

• Proven knowledge of month-end close processes, accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations,

• Knowledge of CZ GAAP and CZ VAT,

• High attention to detail and accuracy,

• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines,

• Advanced MS Excel / Google Spreadsheets skills,

• Fluency in Czech,

• Communicative knowledge of English.

• Knowledge of NetSuite, Concur or Workday,

• US-GAAP knowledge as a plus.
