Community West Foundation supports the Cleveland Clinic in running events for Fairview and Lutheran hospitals and providing program-related grants to both hospitals. The benefits offered by the Cleveland Clinic are a substantial benefit to working at Community West. The caregiver should report to the office daily (M-F) and occasionally evening and weekend events. 

 
A caregiver in this position works days, 8:00am—4:00pm.  


A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Prepare general ledger entries with monthly closing processes and reconcile general ledger accounts. 

  • Perform departmental analysis as required or requested. 

  • Assist with the development and administration of the organization's annual budget. 

  • Serve as an interdepartmental liaison and works with external auditors to prepare for and facilitate audits. 

  • Ensure departmental and organizational compliance with current accounting standards, hospital policies and applicable laws and regulations. 

 
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or other business area. 

  • Strong computer skills needed, including proficiency in working with spreadsheets and database management software.  


Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Accounting or finance internship experience. 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. 

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

  • Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.

  • In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.

  • In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.
